While a rolling stone may gather no moss, these earrings reflect just the opposite using the natural beauty of moss jasper. Moss jasper is also known as serpentine stone because of the cork-like or reptilian variations within the stone. Yesterday I was bitten by the earring fairy and conjured up 5 pairs of earrings.

Those are so pretty, Kel! The stones look like the Russian Serpentine beads I bought in Florida and would go with the bracelet I made recently. Yes, they do resemble moss. Are they some of the beads you bought at the bead show we went to? Can't wait to see the rest of the earrings you made. Send that earring fairy my way!

ReplyDeleteKalona, the moss jasper beads were a gift from Sandy & Dave. I've been stewing over what to do with them and when I found the opaque baby bell flowers they looked perfect with the stone. Moss jasper is also called Serpentine Stone so it's probably the same kind of gemstone that you made your bracelet out of just from different sources. They really would go great together! You need to open an Etsy shop. :)
